VINER MUSIC STUDIO

WHETHER you're a complete beginner looking to start a new instrument or an experienced player looking to advance their skills, Viner Music Studio is ready to help you get to the next step!

SINCE completing graduate studies at The Juilliard School, I've had the good fortune of teaching students of all ages and abilities in NYC and around the world. With my own musical experience covering a wide array of genres, I'll work to connect the type of music you're interested in with the relevant techniques and theory... whether you're trying to master the classic repertoire, learn to improvise, or just want to rock out to the hits, old and new!

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and will work with you to establish an individualized lesson path based on your interests, abilities, learning style, and goals, rather than relying on dry method books & a stock approach.

PIANO

I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old. Though I went on to study clarinet and saxophone at The New School and at Juilliard, I have maintained a passion for performing and teaching piano. I currently play keys in a few rock and jazz groups and have had years of teaching experience for beginner and intermediate piano students.

CLARINET

I’ve been playing clarinet since I was 8 years old. I got started after my brother’s school band had a concert where they featured all the instruments individually. My parents told me if I liked anything in particular then they would look into getting me lessons. I didn’t even know the name of the instrument at the time but I loved the sound and asked them if I could learn the “long-black-tube one”. I still love the sound of the clarinet and perform regularly in NYC and abroad.

SAXOPHONE

I’ve played saxophone since I was 12 years old. Starting out at an early age on clarinet, I gravitated towards jazz after hearing a recording of Benny Goodman. When jazz band became an option for me in middle school, I started playing my grandfather’s saxophone and haven’t looked back. I have since enjoyed playing saxophone in multiple award-winning groups around NYC and abroad.
