JEREMY VINER is a Brooklyn-based performer, composer, and educator involved in a wide range of musical idioms. As a saxophonist and clarinetist, Jeremy has performed nationally and internationally with ensembles led by John Hollenbeck, Steve Lehman, Tyshawn Sorey, and Rafiq Bhatia among many others. Jeremy is also a member of the genre-bending tenor saxophone quartet Battle Trance and the chamber minimalist ensemble Bing & Ruth. As an active participant in the jazz and new music communities of New York and elsewhere, Jeremy has performed at the Wordless Music Series, Newport Jazz Festival, MATA Festival, Moers Festival, Chicago Jazz Festival, Earshot Jazz Festival, Guelph Jazz Festival, Edmonton Jazz Festival, Halifax Jazz Festival, Darmstadt New Music Series, WFMU Festival, Stochastic Brooklyn, Bang On A Can Marathon, Winter Jazz Festival, Palimpsestic Series, Undead Jazz Festival, Jazz Em Agosto, and many of the premier jazz and classical venues in New York City. Jeremy is a Vandoren Artist.
